Operating Principle:
1. Metal pouring: a starter bar forms the base for the first metal charge.
2. Strand formation: after solidification, the starter bar withdraws the strand while liquid metal continues to enter.
3. Secondary cooling: the strand fully solidifies downstream of the mould.
4. Electromagnetic field: a controlled field promotes uniform crystal structure and minimizes defects.
